Today I am grateful for Colin – the love of my life.
Spent a lovely day with him, just being together.
He is having quite bad spasms in his legs, and although the Doc has upped his meds for that, he is really struggling with it.
One of the residents there has some issue with his legs, but has full control of his upper body, and had really strong arms. Colin said he went home for this long weekend, but came back early as he said it was just too difficult. The social worker and physios did say that the process to get to the point of a visit is a long one, and they won’t do it unless it is 100% safe for him. I suspect it will be longer than I initially hoped, but we need to be realistic about this and do it properly so that there are no back steps where there don’t have to be.
I’m so glad you have had another lovely day together. Beware of one step forwards and two steps back . The day will come …
