Day 46 – 100 Days of Polymer Clay

Day 46 felt like a quiet little triumph

Working with a new cutter always carries a hint of uncertainty, like opening a door without knowing exactly what’s behind it. But this time, it led somewhere lovely. The half-flower shape with its raised petals came together more smoothly than expected, and instead of fighting the process, it felt like things clicked into place.

There was a clear intention to improve finishes and balance, and for once, those goals didn’t drift out of reach. The pieces feel more considered, more complete. Not overworked, just… right.

The sparkly white is quickly becoming a favourite, catching the light in a way that gives the petals a gentle life of their own. Paired with the pale yellow centres, the flowers feel soft and calm, almost like they belong to a quiet spring morning.

There’s a sense here of growing confidence, not just in technique, but in decision-making. Knowing when something works, and letting it be enough.

A 8 out of 10 kind of day.
