Technique: Rainbow dangle earrings
Win: Yes
Challenge:
• To create a set of dangle earrings using happy, cohesive rainbow colours
Lessons Learned:
• Translating an idea from my mind into a finished piece is still a work in progress
• Small structural choices, like how elements hang and move, make a big difference to the final look
Confidence Level: 8/10
Notes:
• I’m starting to run low on clay colours (not having had a chance to restock yet), but having small amounts of each rainbow shade led to a sweet and satisfying design
• The overall effect is cheerful and playful, but I think the piece could be elevated by refining how the “bows” hang—experimenting with spacing, connectors, or angles might give them more natural movement and flow
