Day 6
Technique: Inserting into a frame
Win: Yes
Challenge:
• Stretching the shape into the frame so it becomes concave without cracking the thinner bits.
Lessons Learned:
• This technique works really well when using a fat ball tool to gently push the clay into the frame.
Confidence Level: 9/10
Notes:
• I liked how simple this technique is for creating a pretty finished item.
• I also enjoyed being able to use my leftover bits so they don’t go to waste.
Reflection:
Today felt like a reminder that not everything has to be complicated to be effective. Sometimes a simple idea, handled carefully, can create something really satisfying. I’m also noticing how much I enjoy finding ways to use up scraps and leftovers. It feels a bit like giving the smaller pieces of yesterday’s experiments a new chance to shine. Little by little, the pile of possibilities keeps growing.

Oh my goodness what a lovely technique
Thank you so much <3
Simplicity is a sign of genius
Hmm, let’s hope. 🙂
