Day 9 – 100 Days of Polymer Clay

Day 9

Technique: Simple flowers on a hanger shape

Win: Yes

Challenge:

• Pressing and lifting the shape without distorting it

• Creating very small elements

Day 9 closeup

• Placing the elements symmetrically

Lessons Learned:

• Even with cornflour and great care, I still need a lot more practice lifting cutters that have such a thin edge.

• I need to make many more roses and leaves to build confidence and consistency.

• I still struggle to create a true mirror pair of earrings.

Confidence Level: 9/10

Day 9

Notes:

• I love the simplicity of the hanger shape. It feels elegant and lets the small decorative elements shine.
