Day 78 – 100 Days of Polymer Clay

Technique: Simple flower dangle earring

Win: Yes

Challenge:
• To create a simple pair of symmetrical white dangle earrings with a flower on each

Lessons Learned:
• I baked these under a tinfoil tent and you can see that I placed the tent onto the one circle, which left a visible mark. It reminded me that even protective setups need careful placement and attention to detail
• I still struggle with fine detail and symmetry, especially with matching earrings where every tiny difference becomes noticeable
• I am becoming much more aware of the small finishing details that can affect the final result

Confidence Level: 8/10

Notes:
• I enjoyed playing with the flower design this time. It felt more precise and controlled than some of my earlier attempts
• I used less greenery for the stems and I think the simpler approach made the earrings look more elegant and balanced
• The clean white background made the flowers stand out beautifully and gave the earrings a soft, delicate feel
• Even though there are still imperfections, this pair feels like progress in both control and design choices
