Challenge:
• To create an interesting layered look with a Makume Gane slab
Lessons Learned:
• Makume Gane is always wonderfully unpredictable, and this turned out completely differently to what I imagined these colours would create
• The pendant is lovely, but not at all what I thought it would look like
• I used up all the leftover green scraps to complete this piece, so honestly that alone feels like a victory

Notes:
This piece feels a little like opening a treasure map and discovering the landscape changed overnight. The layers shifted in unexpected ways, the colours blended differently than planned, and the final result became something entirely its own.
Not the pendant I imagined.
But perhaps the pendant it wanted to become.
